Network & Wireless

The College's network infrastructure provides wired and wireless access throughout all of main campus and remote campuses. Penn College provides redundant high speed Internet access for the entire campus. This service includes a direct connection to Internet 2 with peering and caching services for Netflix, Google, and Akamai to all students living on campus.

Penn College provides high speed wired Ethernet connections for all college classrooms, computer labs, offices, and residential complexes with a 10 gigabit fiber optic backbone connecting all major building complexes.

Information Technology Services provides secure 802.11ac high-speed wireless access with more than 650 wireless access points spread throughout the campus. Wireless access is available in all faculty and staff offices, classrooms, computer labs, and residential complexes at main campus and all remote campuses.
