Cloud File Storage

Service Description
Think of OneDrive as your hub for saving, managing and sharing files in the cloud. Saving your files to OneDrive gives you the flexibility to access files from anywhere, on any device.  One particularly powerful feature of OneDrive is its seamless integration with locally-installed Microsoft applications.

If you are working in one of Microsoft's locally-installed applications, such as Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, you have the ability to save directly from the local app to your OneDrive storage space.  Once your file is saved to OneDrive, you can share it with colleagues for review/comment or co-edit the document in real-time!  OneDrive has a built-in 'chat' feature which allows collaborators to exchange comments as they work. Currently all users are allocated 1 TB of disk space on their OneDrive.

NOTE:  OneDrive also allows users to restore deleted files without having to contact Information Technology Services.
