Accounts, Access, & Storage

Many of Penn College network resources are limited to users that have a Penn College network account. Accounts are provisioned automatically when employees are hired and when students submit their application to Penn College. Guests and visitors are allowed access to the College's wireless network.

Email & Calendar

Penn College provides email accounts for all faculty, staff, and students. Official college correspondence is sent via email so all faculty, staff, and students should access their email account on a regular basis to stay current with College related communications. Penn College also maintains email distribution groups and shared mailbox resources used by Penn College departments.

Enterprise Applications

Penn College provides a wide variety of enterprise applications used by faculty, staff, and students. Some of the applications reside on campus and others reside in the cloud. Use this to learn more about all of the enterprise applications used at Penn College.

Event Support

All Event Support is requested and Scheduled through the College's Event Management System (EMS).

Network & Wireless

The College's network infrastructure provides wired and wireless access throughout all of main campus and remote campuses. Penn College provides redundant high speed Internet access for the entire campus. This service includes a direct connection to Internet 2 with peering and caching services for Netflix, Google, and Akamai to all students living on campus.


Information Technology Services takes security at Penn College very seriously. We have various tools in place to detect and alert us about security vulnerabilities. IT Security also provides IT security training opportunities for faculty and staff several times a year.

Teaching & Learning

To support the process of teaching and learning, Penn College provides multiple systems and support services to include: a learning management system, classroom technologies, media production services, instructional design services, and technology training.

Telephone, Voicemail, & Fax

Penn College provides desk phones for all faculty and staff offices. Requests for desk phones in classrooms is limited and will require approval from the school's dean. Mobile phones may be requested but must be approved by the VP of the department requesting it. Fax services are also available for use by all faculty and staff.
