Connecting to Penn College's Wi-Fi Network

NOTE:  If you’ve previously connected to the "PCT-Guest” network, please remove or forget this network before connecting to the PCT or PCT-IoT wireless networks.

PCT

  • Preferred connection to be used for laptops, smartphones and other mobile devices
  • Higher Wi-Fi speeds
  • Secure Wi-Fi network
  • Users will be required to register devices using their Penn College username and password
  • Instructions for Apple iOS Device, Android, Windows 10, Mac (coming soon)

PCT-IoT

  • Used for game consoles, smart TVs, wireless speakers, and any other devices that are unable to connect to the "PCT" network
  • Higher Wi-Fi speeds
  • Users will be required to register devices using their Penn College username and password
  • Register your devices MAC address via Connecting Wi-Fi Devices to the PCT-IoT Network

PCT-Guest

  • Used primarily for guests and visitors of Penn College
  • Open and unsecure wireless network
  • Restricted Wi-Fi Speeds - Capped at 3 Mbps download / 1 Mbps upload
  • Limited access to the College's network resources
  • Browse Wi-Fi networks on your device and choose the “PCT-Guest” network. (No authentication is required).
