Adding Network Printers on Windows Devices

Overview

Network printers can easily be added to a Windows PC by double-clicking the desired printer from the list available on \\print.pct.edu.

Instructions

Step 1. 

Open the Windows File Explorer.

Step 2.

In the URL bar type \\print Press enter. "If this does not work please follow the optional step 6 at the bottom."

Step 3.

Locate and double-click your desired printer. The example below shows the CC150 copier. "If this does not work please follow the optional step 6 at the bottom."

Step 4.

Allow Windows to install any required drivers.

Step 5.

In the application, you would like to print from, open the print dialog and select the newly listed printer. The example below is from the Windows image editor, Paint.

Step 6 (Optional).

If this process does not work and you have a personal device you can follow the link below to use the official PaperCut installer. Simply click Download Mobility Print and then run the installer. Once the installer retrieves the printer list deselect the top most printer and select PawPrint at the bottom, then supply your PCT email and password. This will install the PawPrint printer and allow you to print on personal devices.
