Overview

Windows 10 devices can connect to the PCT network by entering your network username and password after selecting the network from the list of available networks. Your web browser should pop up for you to log in once more and register your device to the network.

Instructions

Step 1. 

Click the wireless icon in your system try.

Step 2.

TThe list of available networks will pop up, select the PCT network.

Step 3.

Click on the Connect button

Step 4.

You’ll then be prompted to enter in your network username and password. Once that has been filled out, click the OK button.

Step 5.

If it is your first time connecting, you may see a security warning which says to only connect if you expect to find PCT in this location. If you are on campus, click OK to continue. If you’ve already connected to this network before, skip to the next step.

Step 6.

After you’ve connected to the network, you won’t have internet access. To obtain this, a web browser should prompt up with a webpage like this. Click on the Click Here To Register Your Devices hyperlink to continue. If the webpage did not prompt, type in ‘register.pct.edu’ link in a web browser to get to the register webpage.

Step 7.

You’ll once again be prompted to enter in your network username and password, do so to continue on.

Step 8.

Click on the Register Current Device to register the device you’re currently using.

Step 9.

After a couple of seconds, you should see your device in a box shown below.
