Using PawPrint on Android Devices

Overview

PawPrint is a "print & release" system which allows you to retrieve your printed documents from any Pawprint enabled device on campus by simply swiping your ID card or logging in with your network username and password.

You can add the PawPrint queue to your Android device by downloading the Mobility Print app by PaperCut Software.

Instructions

Step 1. 
USERS MUST BE CONNECTED TO PCT WIRELESS IN ORDER TO USE PAWPRINT

Install the PaperCut Mobility Print app from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.papercut.projectbanksia&hl=en_US

Step 2.

Open the app and follow the directions on the screen to enable printing from print enabled applications.

Note: There is currently an issue with printing from Outlook for Android. This issue may be addressed in a newer version of the Papercut app.

Step 3.

Once you select print from the application of your choice, you will be able to select a printer from the top of your screen by tapping the down arrow.

Step 4.

After your printer or the PawPrint queue, tap the down arrow under Paper size to change your settings (default is black & white & duplex) then tap the blue printer button to print.

Step 5.

Log in when prompted. If successful, you should see a message that your document has been sent to the queue.
