Overview
This article will walk you through clearing the cache and cookies on your web browser.
Select which browser you are using
Chrome
Step 1.
In an open Chrome browser, click More (the three dots) in the top right.
Step 2.
Click on More Tools > Clear browsing data
Step 3.
At the top, set the time range to All time and next to Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, check the boxes.
Step 4.
Click Clear data.
Firefox
Step 1.
In an open Firefox browser, click on the Menu (three lines icon) in the top right.
Step 2.
Click on Library.
Step 3.
Click on History.
Step 4.
Click on Clear Recent History.
Step 5.
At the top, set the Time range to Everything.
Step 6.
Under History check off boxes next to Active Logins, Cache, and Cookies. (Clearing Active Logins will remove remembered logins for sites)
Step 7.
Click Clear Now.
Step 8.
Right-click the Firefox icon on the bottom of your desktop and close all windows. Then re-open the browser.
Safari
Step 1.
In the application menu bar, in the top left of your desktop, click on History.
Step 2.
In the History dropdown, click on Clear History.
Step 3.
Set Clear to all history and click Clear History.
Step 4.
Quit out of Safari and re-open the web browser.
Microsoft Edge
Step 1.
In an open Microsoft Edge browser, click the Hub icon (three dots) in the top right.
Step 2.
Click on History.
Step 3.
Click on Clear History.
Step 4.
Check mark Cookies and saved website data, Cached data and files, and Passwords.
Step 5.
Click on Clear.
Step 6.
Right-click the Microsoft Edge icon on the bottom of your desktop and close all windows. Then re-open the browser.
