Overview
If a colleague has shared a StudyMate Campus project with you, you can follow that project. You can also duplicate the project to create your own editable version.
Instructions
Step 1.
Navigate to StudyMate Campus in the PLATO course site's content module where you want to add the new project that has been shared with you.
Step 2.
Select the "Follow Project" button.
Step 3.
Paste the URL you receive or copied into the URL box provided. Note: You are still a "project follower" and will not be able to edit this project. However you can duplicate it.
Step 4.
The followed project is still "linked" to the original project creator. You cannot edit it, but any edits that the original creator makes will automatically be reflected in your site's followed project. To create an editable version of the followed project, select the project's dropdown arrow and then the "Duplicate and Edit" option.
Step 5.
Rename the project and update the description in the boxes provided.
Step 6.
Now that the project has been duplicated, it can be edited. The project that was shared with you can be deleted, or left in your course site if you want to easily see updates from the other instructor.
