Student Print Quota

Overview

Penn College students can print to network printers all over campus, including computer labs, the library, and selected "common" areas in each building. You can use this service free up to a maximum of $50 per semester (a behind-the-scenes program logs all printing).

*Pages are counted as follows:

  • Each black & white page printed counts as $0.04 of your allowance. $0.08 if you are printing 11x17 size paper.
  • Each color page printing counts as $0.10 of your allowance. $0.20 if you are printing 11x17 size paper.
  • Two-sided printing is counted as two pages.

Once you reach the $50 semester limit, you can continue to print; however, you must prepay for additional print credit in $3 increments (cash only) at the Madigan Library (during normal operating hours). Penn College ID is required.

NOTE: If you attempt to print more pages than are left in your print balance, the entire print request will be ignored by the printer, even though the software may indicate that the pages were successfully sent to the printer. For example, if you have $0.40 print credit left and attempt to print a 50-page document, none of the pages will print.

No refunds will be issued for unused printing allotments or for prepaid pages not used by the end of the semester.

You can view your print balance at any time at https://pawprint.pct.edu.
