The Educational & Emerging Technologies department can produce instructional videos that serve to reiterate the same technical procedures that faculty are instructing in the classroom or lab.

Supplemental instructional videos can be used by faculty when complex, in-class procedures are being taught. These videos give students the opportunity to review the procedure indefinitely until they have it mastered. EET staff will work with faculty throughout the entire production process. Professional videographers will come to you lab or location at a designated time, record the necessary footage, edit the video, and provide to you a finished product that can be embedded within your P.L.A.T.O. course site. Supplemental instructional videos can then be used every semester as a pedagogical aid.

Faculty that are already using this tool have found an increase in overall student grades on related assessments.
