Export P.L.A.T.O. Survey Results

Overview

The P.L.A.T.O. Survey Tool is a versatile feature designed to gather feedback and insights from course participants. Instructors can then generate reports for analysis.

Instructions

Step 1: Log in to P.L.A.T.O.

  1. Access your P.L.A.T.O. account and navigate to the course containing the survey.

 

Step 2: Navigate to the Surveys Tool

  1. Click on the Resources tab in the navigation bar.
  2. Select Surveys from the dropdown menu.

 

Step 3: Locate the Survey

  1. Find the survey for which you want to export results.
  2. Click the down arrow next to the survey name and select Edit.

 

Step 4: Generate the Report

  1. On the 'Edit Survey" screen, click the Reports Setup tab.
  2. Click the Add Report button.
  3. Enter a Report Name.
  4. Decide whether the Report Type will contain an overall summary of the data or each individual user's responses to all questions.
  5. Decide when to Release the report: immediately or at a future date and time.
  6. Decide who to Release Report To. Typically, you will limit this to the instructor.
  7. Click the blue Save button.

 

Step 5: Export Results

  1. Find the survey for which you want to export results.
  2. Click the down arrow next to the survey name and select Reports.
  3. Click on the name of the report you wish to view.
  4. Use the “From” and “To” controls to limit the results to a specific date range.
  5. Click the Generate HTML button and wait for the report to be generated.
  6. Once the report is displayed, click the Print Report button or Export to Excel and save the file to your computer if you desire.
