Registration
This is the online scheduling tool. Once a student meets with their advisor, they will be released to schedule for the upcoming semester at a pre-selected time, based off number of credits earned. If a student is dual enrolled, they must be certain they are under the correct enrollment by using the drop-down menu.
To search for a course, a student will enter the Course Code (a section number is not needed), click on the blue plus sign, and then click Search.
The student will add the needed courses to their shopping cart by clicking on the green plus sign in the far-left column.
Once all courses are added to the shopping cart, the student will click on the Register/Drop button, which will ask for a final review before being prompted to click on the Register button a second time. Once registered, courses will appear in yellow. If a student is placed on a waitlist, or encounters a scheduling conflict, the courses denote that status.
If a student is placed on a waitlist and a seat becomes available the system will reserve a seat for that student for 24 hours. The student will receive an email alert to their pct.edu account, letting them know they can claim this reserved seat by logging back into the Registration feature on the Student Portal. The student DOES NOT need to re-add this course to their shopping cart! Scroll to the pre-saved shopping cart and the student will find the reserved seat is already there for them. Student will click on the Register/Drop button to claim their reserved seat.
