Desktop Recording with Teams

Description

This tutorial will show how to do a desktop recording using MS Teams desktop application. 

Guide

Step 1

Open MS Teams desktop application and click Join or create a team.

Step 2

Select Create a team.

Step 3

Select Staff as the team type.

Step 4

Enter a name for the team and verify it is set to Private - Only team owners can add members. Then click Next.

Step 5

You do not need to add any users to the Teams, click Skip.

Add People to Desktop

 

Step 6

Select the Team created in Step 4

Step 7

On the top right corner of Teams, click on the Meet icon.

Step 8

Adjust your web cam then select Meet now to start the meeting.

Step 9

To start recording click on the three dots icon and select Start recording.

Step 10

To share documents like a PowerPoint, click on the Share icon.

Step 11

When complete click on the Hang Up to finish recording.

Step 12

The recording will become available in the Team when it finished uploading to Streams.
