Connecting an Apple iOS Device to the "PCT" & "PCT-New" Wireless Networks

Summary

Apple iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads can connect to the PCT or PCT-New wireless networks by simply entering your network username and password when joining the network and trusting the certificate when prompted.

Body

Apple iOS (iPad, iPhone, etc.)

Instructions

Step 1

Go to your Wi-Fi settings screen and select the PCT or PCT-New SSID to connect to by tapping on the blue information symbol next to the wireless symbol on same line.

Step 2

Please turn off Private Wi-Fi Address and then click on "Join This Network".  The switch should be Grey when turned off.

Step 3

Enter your PCT Credentials, your username is everything before "@pct.edu" and then hit "Join".

Step 4

The first time connecting, and yearly, you will need to trust the certificate for ise.pct.edu or nps4.pct.edu depending on what SSID you're connecting to.

Click on "Trust" to finish connecting.

You should now be connected to the wireless network.

If you happen to see "Limited Compatibility", do not be concerned this is expected.
