Entering Line Items with a Zero Cost (Sample, Demo, No Charge etc.):
A. After you enter the quantity, go to far right and in “Mode of Delivery” field (if you customized your view, you may need to insert this field using the three dots at far right), enter “sample” from drop down. This way the item will print on the PO with Zero cost.
B. At the end of the item’s description, please add “at no charge” and/or reason why these items are at no charge (Samples, Demos estc.).
C. If you want the dollar amount reflected on the PO, then you would enter the dollar amount in Unit Price and also in Discount Column. This way, it would show your unit cost of $10 and total discount of ($120), for net zero cost.
