Placing Interlibrary Loans

  1. When searching the Madigan Library catalog you may locate an item you wish to check-out, however; it is not currently available at our library.  The Madigan Library has the ability to request these materials, via Interlibrary Loan, from other libraries for you. 
     
  2. Placing an Interlibrary loan request through Discovery.
    1. If you locate an item in our catalog, that is not available at our library, you will be able to request it via the "Request It From InterLibrary Loan" button seen here in this example below:

    2. Once clicked you will be asked to login to your Library My Account:

    3. You will use your PCT Network Username (do not include @pct.edu) and Network Password to login. 
    4. Once you are successfully logged in you will be taken to the Interlibrary loan request tab where you will complete your request.  Here you can review the information pre-filled for you as well as being able to add "About my request" information such as a "Needed Before" date. 
    5. Once you are done reviewing click "Submit Request".

  3. Viewing Requests Status
    1. You can view the status of your requests by going to your library account page or by visiting https://madigan.account.worldcat.org/account/ and selecting the "Request" tab.
       
  4. Renewing Interlibrary Loan Items.
    1. You can renew your checked out (including interlibrary-loan) items in your checkouts section of your library account
