Overview
Google Voice gives you a single phone number that rings all of your phones, saves your voicemail online, and transcribes your voicemail to text. Other cool features include the ability to listen in on messages while they're being left, block unwanted callers, and make cheap international calls.
Quick Setup for Android and iOS
- Navigate to Google Play apps (Android) or Apps Store (IOS)
- Search for “Google Voice” and download
- Launch the Google Voice App and a setup wizard will start (for personal, not business)
- If you don’t have a google account, you will need to create one
- Review the terms of service and policy accept
- Search for a number based on your zip code entry
- Select the number you want as your call number
