Student Residence Status in Anthology Student

Summary

Overview of how to view a student's residency status within Anthology Student.

Body

Preface

Currently, the customizable header within Anthology Student contains an optional data point called "Housing Status Code".  This causes confusion to many departments because this isn't a field populated from our housing system (StarRez); it is populated from forms filled out by a student for Financial Aid purposes.  Therefore, it may end up not reflecting the reality of where a student lands regarding their residence while attending.  This data point in the header is usually only relevant to the Financial Aid department.

How can I hide the 'Housing Status Code' from the student header if it isn't accurate for my work?

After logging into Anthology Student and bringing up a student's information, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the student header.

Click to select it and then click the single left arrow to move it off the 'Selected Properties' list.  Now click the 'Save' button. 'Housing Status Code will now be removed from the listed data points in your student view header.

On this tile, click on the Housing School Fields tab, and you will find "Residence Life Housing Status".  There are three possible values here: blank, "On-Campus", and "Off-Campus." A blank means that the student never had a housing status recorded from StarRez.  "On-Campus" means that the student currently has a reservation or are currently in-room as reported by StarRez.  "Off-Campus" means they are no longer in on-campus housing.
