MS Word - A newer version of this file is available on the server.

Issues with opening a shared file and its opening an older version and you get the message - A newer version of this file is available on the server.

If you are getting the message "A newer version of this file is available on the server." but no one else is getting this message then you may need to clear your MS Word Cache.

Go to File > Options then on the left hand side of that screen select Save, and then scroll down and click on Delete cache files.
